Warlord (Wolfblade Trilogy) by Jennifer Fallon – book review
If you liked the Demon Child trilogy, you will like this also. The main walrord, the High Arrion, is given in the first book the motive of saving the nation from a corrupt and venal leader. The resolution was also rather good, but I felt a little let down because it covered some of the story-lines well, others got a passing mention, or one or two little ones were not covered at all. Not because it is of the typical jenifer ilk, but because of the guy on the cover.
Personally, I missed not having at least a few characters willing to sacrifice walord for the greater good or risk all to save their comrades, sometimes a bit of derring-do can go a long way.

Preview — Warlord by Jennifer Fallon. My favorite part is, when seeing her children safely grown up, Marla finally decides to bring her fight with Alija right out in the open.
But ruthlessness is sometimes necessary, and I would rather be known as cold and calculating than a wimp. This trilogy wrap-up does a few things that I like: Sign In Don’t have an account?
The story is set in quasi-medieval times, with plagues, swordfights, and horse-based transportation.
The war was a little non-eventful and not much happened, despite the build-up to it. Lots jennfer loose endings so I am sure there will be a sequel, if not one already.
Aug 17, J rated it it was ok. She hates and fears him so much that, even though as an adult he’s never treated her poorly, when she thinks her lover is dead and she will be forced into marrying Damin, she commits suicide. waarlord
This was the second in this series and I was again surprised that I enjoyed it. For example, in the middle of the second book, Marla Wolfblade rules, after her magically jennifer adopted step-daughter Luciena tries to kill her biological son Damin, that for the crime of attempted assassination, the adopted step-daughter deserves death.
