But to become a fast reader, you have to practice, practice and practice I could have read three times as many books over those years, and it would have been an enormous help in grad school. Instead of hearing yoru voice in yoru head and going slowly and trying to remember and read eveyrhting, now reading to me is just setting a purpose, reading through a text many times and recalling afterwards while writing out what you read and understand.

Spreeder is my favorite. Lets not call it “speed reading” lets call it “reading and learning exceptionally”. Great teacher, I used the techniques in the book to finish the book, really changed my life even because now I am imagining a future where i read a book a day, or atleast a few books a week.

The 36 chapters are to be read one per day and reading them and doing the associated exercises take about minutes. And because it lets readers choose their own materials and set their own pace, it’s the ideal method for busy people juggling a full schedule.

OK I skipped a few days so it took me two months to finish instead of six weeks.
